These terms cover this website, the application form, the discovery call, and any later mentorship. By submitting an application or paying an invoice you agree to them. They are a plain-language agreement for a selective private practice, not a consumer gym membership.

1. What this is

Lineage Preservation is a selective mentorship in Tai Chi, Kobudo, and Karatejutsu. It is not a drop-in class, not a fitness product, and not a guarantee of rank, certification, or transmission rights.

2. Application is not acceptance

Anyone may submit the written application. I read it and decide whether to offer a discovery call. I may decline without a long explanation. Silence after an application means I am not offering a call at this time.

3. Discovery call and the $150 invoice

• If I offer a call, I will email a Stripe invoice for $150.
• That fee is for a private 30–45 minute Zoom conversation to assess mutual fit.
• Paying the invoice reserves that conversation. It does not enrol you in a mentorship path.
• Do not pay unless you received an invoice from me.
• Unpaid invoices may be voided after the due date.

4. Refunds

Once the discovery-call invoice is paid, the fee is non-refundable if you cancel, miss the call without notice, or are not offered a mentorship afterwards. If I withdraw the offer before the call, I will refund the $150. Card networks may still allow a dispute; I will respond with the application, invoice, and these terms.

5. Mentorship paths

Core, Intensive, or Legacy mentorship is offered only after the call, if at all. Prices and minimum terms shown on the site are a guide and may be confirmed in writing before you are invoiced. A later path is a separate agreement and a separate Stripe invoice or subscription. Capacity is limited (about 6–8 students).

If a path is offered, you are expected to keep the minimum term, submit practice video as asked, train consistently at home, and treat the lineage and the teacher with respect. I may pause or end the relationship if that commitment fades. That protects the work. Unused sessions are not automatically refunded.

6. Sessions

Sessions are usually on Zoom. AEST is preferred; other timezones by arrangement. You are responsible for your space, internet, and any equipment. I am not responsible for injury from practice you do at home. Train within your limits.

7. No public transmission rights

Paying for time does not give you the right to teach this lineage, use my name, or present yourself as a successor. Any future transmission arrangement would be written separately and is rare.

8. Conduct

Applications and conversations must be honest. Do not harass, record secretly, or publish the call. I may end communication if that standard is broken.

9. Website content

Text and images on this site are for information. Details such as prices, hours, and available places can change. The live invoice and any written offer control over old website copy.
